Chelsea winger Charly Musonda has been given the option to leave Stamford Bridge on loan in January, after recently signing a new contract at the club, Goal report.
The 21-year-old penned a new deal, keeping him at the club until 2022, however, with January fast approaching, the club have given Musonda the choice to go out on loan for the remainder of the campaign, or to remain at Stamford Bridge.
Musonda is set to make a late call on whether or not to head out on loan in search of more regular first-team football.
The Belgian has started two games for the Blues this season, both coming in Carabao Cup fixtures, and scored in the 5-1 thumping of Nottingham Forest.
With a busy Christmas schedule upcoming for Antonio Conte’s side, Musonda may choose to remain in London, and will likely feature in the side’s upcoming cup games against Bournemouth and Norwich.
