Arsenal left it late at Turf Moor yet again but secured all three points to get back into the top four in the Premier League.

Arsenal may one day beat Burnley at Turf Moor in a simple, straightforward match but today was not that day.

The home side hit the post early on before Aaron Ramsey scuffed the visitors’ only real opening in the first-half.

The Gunners lifted their game in the second-half but had to leave it late for the winning goal which came courtesy of Alexis Sanchez.

The Chilean stepped up to win the match from the penalty spot after Aaron Ramsey was brought down by one of Burnley’s impressive performers, James Tarkowski.

It was a great moment and one which felt more than a little familiar to both teams. The Gunners have now won each of their last three visits to Turf Moor courtesy of a last-minute goal.
