Belgium manager Roberto Martinez has allayed fears that Chelsea winger Eden Hazard has suffered another injury.
As quoted by Football London, the Spanish boss discussed Hazard’s condition and insisted that there is nothing to worry about, with the wide man still in good condition.
Hazard did not train on Sunday but there is nothing serious.
Hazard has struggled with injury this season. He missed the beginning of the campaign as he nursed an ankle injury and is now struggling to maintain a solid run of fitness.
The ex-Lille man missed training with the Belgium squad on Sunday afternoon as a result of precautionary measures, with claims made that he is carrying a knock at the moment.
However, Martinez is evidently calm about his star man’s condition and feels Hazard will not require any more time out.
Chelsea will hope that the winger will be in top condition for when they go head to head against West Brom on Saturday, in what promises to be yet another key game for Antonio Conte’s side.
