Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed the type of players fans can expect to see more of at Old Trafford in the future.
The legendary Norwegian also discussed his expectations for the January transfer window, which has so far been rather quiet for the majority of clubs.
United have had Amad Diallo come in this winter but he’s technically a summer signing who couldn’t complete his move until now.
Supporters would’ve loved to see more fresh faces but they are rather understanding of the financial uncertainties and are willing to wait until the summer before demanding more transfers.
Solskjaer also didn’t really hint at a desire to sign anyone major for the time being so it seems he’s rather content with his squad at the moment.
Solskjær: "Good football players, who are good people, and who can do a good job for #mufc for a long time, is what we are looking for. But I doubt that anything is happening now [in January]." #mulive [@FAFiltvedt]

Solskjaer has always placed great importance on the characters of the players he’s interested in and it’s safe to say it’s been a successful method so far.
Harry Maguire and Bruno Fernandes in particular have been commended for the leadership and mentality they’ve brought to the squad and it’s something many will benefit from.
It will be interesting to see who Solskjaer brings in next but it’s clear as day who the fans want to see at Old Trafford and it’s the superstar Englishman Jadon Sancho who is plying his trade with Borussia Dortmund.
