Popular journalist Fabrizio Romano has given Manchester United fans an update on Paul Pogba’s situation and what his near future will bring.
The talented Frenchman was in the headlines for all the right reasons after a string of fantastic performances helped guide his team to the top of the Premier League table.
Pogba’s future is consistently in doubt and it has only gotten worse due to his contract soon running out.
His agent’s public complaints haven’t helped either but overall, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has handled the situation rather well or at the very least, better than Jose Mourinho did.
Things can change very quickly with a player of Pogba’s status but it seems, for the time being, fans can breathe a sigh of relief.
United have confirmed it is impossible to sell Paul Pogba in January, intending to keep the squad that is giving great results to Solskjær. He will leave in the summer as long as an agreement can be found and Juventus have signed up for the race. (@FabrizioRomano) #MUFC

A summer departure is now the most likely thing and it’s a scenario many would accept moving forward.
However, it wouldn’t be inconceivable that if Manchester United maintain good form and show true progress when the season’s over, Pogba may reconsider his decision to depart.
At the moment the club is flying high and everything is rosy but it’s obvious it won’t last forever so the season will be deemed a success or failure depending on how badly the team crashes if they do that is.
Manchester United have fielded some of the worlds greatest centre backs over the years, but how much do you know about them? Take our quiz below to find out!
