Solskjaer delivers the best news of the night after Watford win

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has delivered some potentially positive news following the win over Watford.

The legendary Norwegian watched on as his men scraped past with a 1-0 scoreline in what was not the most pleasing performance.

Scott McTominay scored the winner early on and United couldn’t add to that goal to make it a comfortable victory.

The win didn’t come without a price unfortunately with Eric Bailly substituted off the field just before half-time for Harry Maguire.

The Ivorian has a shocking history of injuries and fans were concerned it would mean yet another long spell on the sidelines.

Solskjaer on the seriousness of Bailly injury: "I honestly can’t tell you, I think he got a good whack don’t think it’s concussion think it’s his neck which is sore so hopefully muscle injury but we'll have to check him tomorrow and fingers crossed he won’t be out for too long."

Given Solskjaer’s comments, Bailly should be fine to play in the next fixture and even if he isn’t, he shouldn’t be out for long.

As bad as the knock looked initially, the tough defender managed to walk off the field on his own and so wouldn’t be expected to fail to prove his fitness.

Bailly has been in the form of his life of late and so supporters were keen to see him feature as often as possible.
