Malang Sarr is a Chelsea player after The Blues signed the defender on a free transfer from Nice and another centre back, Thiago Silva, is expected to join him at Stamford Bridge.
Silva had completed his Chelsea medical and is expected to fly to London in the next 24 hours to finalise his move to the Blues. The deal is thought to be a one year deal and has been agreed by both parties and all that needs to be done is for pen to hit paper.

Chelsea fans should be delighted with these two signings as the Blues have been crying out for some more stability in defence in recent years.
Sarr will be unavailable for Chelsea next season after they send him back out on loan but Silva should be available for the start of the campaign.
These two defenders may yet have the chance to play with one another after next season too, due to Silva having a second year available to him in his contract
If that option is triggered, the prospect of Sarr learning from an experienced head such as Silva is very promising for Chelsea.
