Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has revealed that the club will not be selling any of their stars in the January transfer window, amid speculation over Ben Chilwell’s future.
Chelsea have been linked with a move for the defender as they look to bolster their defence in the coming transfer windows.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Sky Sports report that Rodgers said this:
There will be no one leaving in January. Categorically.

This is seemingly a blow for Chelsea, if reports regarding their interest in Chilwell is accurate, and could mean that they need to move on to other targets in January. If Frank Lampard is desperate to sign a new left-back, they may need to act fast in January, however they could wait until the summer and then make a move for Chilwell.
The England international has nailed down his place at left-back for club and country over the last 12 months and has been a key player for Leicester. They have the best defensive record in the Premier League this season and are currently second – above Chelsea. He would add quality defensively and offensively for Chelsea, whilst also being a player for the future at just 22-years-old.
