Manchester United fans were rightfully upset with their players following their turgid display vs Everton.
Wins against Manchester City and Tottenham left supporters feeling as though they could beat anyone with there being hope momentum will finally pick up.
Unfortunately that didn’t end up being the case with the visitors even getting the opening goal of the game through a Victor Lindelof own goal.
Fans debated over whether or not David de Gea was fouled in the buildup to Everton’s goal but either way it stood even after VAR looked at it.
The Red Devils missed an awfully good chance to get within two points of fourth place with Chelsea facing Tottenham next week.

Here we go again … when is this Manchester United side going to learn how to win these easy games?

Just typcial. Beat out rivals and then produce such a poor performance against the smaller teams. #mufc

That's a poor result when you consider what happened against Spurs and City. Extremely inconsistent this season. We just can't seem to break teams down that play deep and don't attack us the way a big 6 team would. Still could have been worse. #mufc

The final product of every one bar the youngest player in the stadium, Mason Greenwood, has been abysmal.#mufc created enough chances to have killed this game off bar half time but we've dropped another vital 2 points to poor opposition.

Extremely disappointing result, we should have capitalized on Chelsea dropping points yesterday. We are very poor at defending corners we always look as if we are going to concede from them. Beat Spurs and City and then can’t beat Everton is worrying.

Manchester United have consistently failed to impress against weaker opponents and the hope is Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will address this in the January transfer window.
However, recent talk from Old Trafford has suggested no transfers will be made unless it fits the long-term vision of the club and happens to be a good deal.
It’s left fans feeling as though no transfers will be made at all given how clubs don’t like to sell in the winter unless it’s for a huge fee.
