Chelsea are reportedly set to make Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic their number one target if their transfer ban is lifted in January.
According to The Mirror, the Blues are ready to make a move for the Serbian midfielder, who is rated at around £70 million, if FIFA lifts the transfer ban that is currently restricting transfers for Chelsea.

Milinkovic-Savic, who has also been linked with Manchester United, was pivotal in Lazio’s Coppa Italia win last season.
The Serbian would offer Frank Lampard more depth in midfield, and would surely be an instant starter for the Blues going forward.
Even if the ban isn’t overturned, it is likely that Chelsea would make a move for the midfielder next summer.

Any deal for the midfielder obviously relies on the transfer ban being overturned, but he would be a solid acquisition for Chelsea.
The Serbian has been crucial for the Italian side as of late, so he wouldn’t be a cheap deal.
However, the Lazio man would be a superb signing for Frank Lampard’s side.
