Borussia Dortmund and Inter Milan look set to go head-to-head in the race for Olivier Giroud in January, amid uncertainty surrounding the striker’s future.
According to FourFourTwo, both Dortmund and Inter are keen on a move for the Frenchman given his lack of first-team football at Chelsea, with the Bundesliga side reigniting their interest in him after having a summer approach turned down.
Chelsea are said to value Giroud for a fee in the region of £5million given how his current deal at Stamford Bridge is set to expire in the summer.

Allowing Giroud to leave the club in January could be risky business for Frank Lampard, given how the Frenchman is currently one of just three striking options available to him.
Should the prolific Tammy Abraham or Michy Batshuayi pick up an injury then Giroud would have a big role to play for Chelsea despite his lack of game time so far this season.
Interest in the Frenchman is understandable however, with Giroud arguably too good to be playing a bit-part role at Stamford Bridge.
