Tahith Chong’s agent, Erkan Alkan, has confirmed that his client could leave Manchester United next summer amid interest from other clubs.
The 19-year-old has shot through the academy ranks at Old Trafford since joining the club in 2016, making his senior debut in January against Reading in the FA Cup.
However, Chong has been restricted to four appearances in all competitions this season, with his last outing coming from the bench against Newcastle United.
Speaking in an interview earlier this week, Alkan suggested that they were still waiting for fresh terms from United before making a decision on his future.
Erkan Alkan (Chong's agent): "It's true that top clubs keep an eye on the situation around Tahith — we are quietly waiting to see what #mufc will come up with or else we will see what is best for Tahith’s development next summer." #mulive [vi, @Sport_Witness]

There is a strong likelihood that should Chong not be guaranteed a more regular place in the United side, his agent will explore other options.
At the age of 19, in these modern times, you need to be receiving regular senior minutes – a school of thought championed most popularly by Ajax, who breed players to be ready for the highest level at the age of 18.
And make no mistake: there will be a number of clubs, if not United, who are willing to give Chong more regular game time next season.
