Manchester United fans couldn’t believe their eyes after Marcus Rashford netted his side’s winner vs Chelsea from a ridiculous long-range free-kick.
The young Englishman has been heavily criticised in the past for taking charge of set-pieces only to fail miserably.
Rashford’s knuckleball technique often means the ball sways wildly out of play but on occasion, such as today, it gloriously nestles in the back of the net.
United were in desperate need of some magic having lost their lead in a rather frustrating manner and the academy product stepped up big time.
Rashford’s effort means Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men now have three wins on the bounce with all three being away wins as well.

That is one of the best free kicks you’ll ever see from Marcus Rashford. That’s a special, special hit and one we’ll be seeing for many years to come.

What a brilliant win that was. Wow. Rashford has tried that free kick about 99 times and put it in Row Z more often than not, now was the 100th attempt that finally came off and my word was it spectacular! #mufc

Momentum is building for Solskjaer and if the Red Devils can keep it up, they should be climbing into the Champions League qualification spots soon enough.
Although they have been poor in the early stages of the season, it’s safe to say they didn’t deserve to be as low as 15th in the table and a win last weekend saw them jump up to 7th.
A few wins on the trot should see Manchester United back in contention for a top four spot, particularly with Arsenal and Tottenham’s woes of late.
