Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed the state of his players following their bittersweet 1-1 draw with Liverpool.
Fans and probably even neutrals had anticipated the Reds were going to throttle the legendary Norwegian’s side but that didn’t turn out to be the case.
Instead United put in a strong showing and could’ve ran away with all three points had it not been for an individual defensive error.
Supporters were pleased with the impressive performance but were disappointed with the matter in which they conceded the equaliser.
Solskjaer has undoubtedly made the Red Devils stronger defensively and that was on show until Liverpool drew level.
Solskjær: "The boys were so disappointed in the dressing room. I am sure they will go back home and think we can kick on." #mulive

Fans couldn’t help but feel as though it were two points dropped, particularly given their position in the league table.
In truth, Manchester United desperately needed all three points to climb up to a somewhat respectable position given their poor start to the season.
Time is running out for Solskjaer’s side to pick up points as the busy festive period is just around the corner.
Hopefully a mid-week win in the Europa League sparks a winning run and United can show just how good they were at the start of their manager’s reign.
