Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is slowly but surely edging towards his managerial appointment anniversary so it’s the perfect time to look back at how well he’s done since arriving.
It’s also helpful that he’s managed to overseen three wins on the bounce after a poor start to the season with all three coming away from home.
United were dangerously close and flirting with the relegation zone at one point in the season but now find themselves in seventh place and in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup.
Of course there’s a long way to go but it’s an improvement on the doom and gloom from just a few weeks ago.
A lot of criticism has been levelled at Solskjaer and some rightfully so but there’s a lot of good things he’s done he hasn’t been given credit for.

Obviously Solskjaer will be looking to put in more wins but it’s impressive that despite all of Manchester United’s woes and their turbulent end to last season and beginning of this season, they’ve only managed to lose twice in 11 games to top six opposition.
It’s also likely once the legendary Norwegian has the kind of players he wants in his starting XI then he’ll be able to pull off more victories for supporters.
