Manchester United great Patrice Evra has responded to his side’s 2-0 defeat to West Ham in great fashion, by sending executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward a message.
The legendary Frenchman appears to hint his desire for the director of football role which he has been previously linked with.
Evra is currently back at United working with the younger age groups as he attempts to get his coaching badges.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already been under pressure this season due to some uninspiring form with some criticising the board for their lack of backing in the summer.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Harry Maguire and Daniel James were all signed but many fans believed at least two or three more signings were needed and perhaps that’s where Evra would come in.

Evra previously spoke about not returning to Manchester United until he’s ready to give his life up for the club again and it appears he is now ready.
Whether that means he’ll aim for the director of football role or a similar position remains to be seen but at least he’s actually sent the board a message.
Many former United players have avoided criticising the board publicly, perhaps due to their desire to return to Old Trafford, but fans have grown unhappy with that.
