After missing out on the competion last season, Chelsea fans will be counting down the days until Champions League football returns to Stamford Bridge next week.
Competing in Group H, Chelsea will compete in some intriguing ties, which kick off with a home fixture against Spainish side Valencia before they come face-to-face with Ajax and Lille.
As we know, Frank Lampard is putting huge trust into his youth options this season, a philosophy which Chelsea have infamously failed to adopt in recent history, making their transfer ban a potential blessing in disguise.
The full squad is as follows:
Goalkeepers: Kepa, Caballero, Cumming*.
Defenders: Azpilicueta, Emerson, James*, Alonso, Rudiger, Christensen, Zouma, Tomori, Guehi*
Midfielders: Jorginho, Kante, Kovacic, Barkley, Gilmour*, McEachran*, Mount*, Loftus-Cheek
Forwards: Willian, Pedro, Abraham, Hudson-Odoi*, Pulisic, Giroud, Batshuayi
*B list
The squad contains many senior players, but which younger talents will have what it takes to take Chelsea to the next level? Let’s take a look.
