Manchester United are reportedly attempting to renegotiate Inter Milan’s offer for Alexis Sanchez as the days continue to countdown towards the summer transfer window deadline.
Clubs around the world can still purchase players from English clubs although the opposite can’t happen and so selling the experienced Chilean will mean he can’t be replaced.
United look awfully short of depth in their attack, even with Sanchez kept in mind and so Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will have to be incredibly careful with the decision he makes.
The legendary Norwegian could indirectly be placing too much pressure on his youngsters to perform should either one of Marcus Rashford or Anthony Martial suffer any injuries.
The former Barcelona man may have had a turbulent time at Old Trafford so far but perhaps holding onto him for the time being, even if it’s just to make up the numbers, may be the wiser thing to do.
According to the Telegraph, Inter hope to find out by Thursday in regards to the possibility of signing Sanchez while the Red Devils are hoping to persuade them into a better offer.
The hope is to cover more than half his wages and receive a better loan fee despite Solskjaer’s side debating whether to let him go having sold Romelu Lukaku already.
