Inter Milan are reportedly attempting to sign Alexis Sanchez despite Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s insistence he hopes the player will come good for Manchester United this season.
The Chilean attacker has had a turbulent time at Old Trafford to say the least and so if he wishes to depart it wouldn’t come as a surprise.
However, it’s believed his wages are far too high for any club to afford him and it appeared since United couldn’t do so earlier, they were going to hold onto him now.
The transfer market is predictable however and it seems the reports have changed once again with Inter suddenly in for Sanchez.
The question now becomes, if they struggled for so long to stump up the cash for Romelu Lukaku, how will they do so for the former Arsenal man.
#Inter after losing Edin Dzeko are going to ask Alexis Sanchez to Man United. The other name on the shortlist is Fernando Llorente as a free agent. Nothing advanced yet for Paulo Dybala or Arek Milik as a swap deal with Icardi. #transfers

Edin Dzeko has extended his contract with Roma leaving Inter to chase other targets but it’s probably more believable that they’ll get those players before they can get Sanchez.
Fernando Llorente for free makes far more sense for the Italian giants than paying silly wages for the former Barcelona star.
There isn’t the feeling that United are desperate any longer to offload Sanchez now the window is shut, so it would take some smart negotiations from Inter to get their man.
