Manchester United will reportedly need to help out Roma in their quest to sign Alexis Sanchez on a loan deal otherwise the transfer will collapse.
The experienced Chilean has struggled to make a similar impact at Old Trafford as he did whilst with Arsenal and so there have been constant rumours of moving him on.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hasn’t suggested as much but getting Sanchez’s wages of the bill would be a huge help to United’s finances.
Although the English transfer window is shut, departures to foreign clubs can still happen for a while longer.
However, Solskjaer may be wise to delay any sort of transfer deciding to sell Romelu Lukaku on transfer deadline day.

It makes less sense to lose a player who could potentially make up for the loss in goals after Lukaku’s move to Inter was confirmed.
In fact, Sanchez is now Manchester United’s most senior attacking option so his experience could come in handy at times in comparison to Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood’s youthfulness.
Either way, offloading the former Arsenal man seems near impossible and it’s likely he will only be moved on when his contract ends a few years from now.
