Marcos Rojo‘s agent has arrived at Carrington today for talks with Manchester United about a potential deadline day move for Marcos Rojo.
Reports yesterday claimed that the Toffees, who have been busy towards the backend of this window, launched a bid for Chris Smalling, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer does not want to sell.
Rojo, however, is a player who is certainly dispensable following the arrival of Harry Maguire from Leicester City for £80m.
According to ESPN‘s Andy Mitten, Rojo’s agent is at Carrington today to negotiate a deadline day departure for his client.
Meetings going on at Carrington about Rojo joining Everton on loan. Rojo wants more games but United would prefer to sell.

If United cannot manage to sign a central midfielder or land a replacement for Romelu Lukaku, both of which are painful notions to accept, at least they are looking to remove some deadwood from the side (albeit not as severely as they should be).
Rojo has only managed 14 Premier League appearances over the last two seasons and looks further away from the starting XI than ever. His two modes of playing – either injuring someone or getting injured himself – are simply not sustainable for a position which United have struggled to settle on.
Thankfully, with the arrival of Maguire, United can sanction the passing of just one of many players who should not be at Old Trafford.
