Unai Emery has spoken about Arsenal’s potential transfer for Dani Ceballos after the news was all-but confirmed last night (via Arsenal.com).
Last night, the BBC’s David Ornstein confirmed the news that Arsenal had reached an agreement with Real Madrid for the loan of Dani Ceballos.
The Spanish midfielder is set to join the Gunners for next season after two years at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Now, Unai Emery has been quizzed about the player as the Gunners – rather ironically – prepare to take on Real Madrid in a pre-season friendly in the USA.
“Ceballos is a very good player,” Emery told the press.
“I know him from Betis at the beginning and also at Real Madrid.
“He played very well with the under-21s, they won with his national team in this competition.”
Dani Ceballos was a standout player for Spain during last month’s UEFA European Under-21 Championships. He’s a quality player possessing the technical abilities currently missing from Arsenal’s midfield. If things go well, he could be an excellent acquisition for the Gunners who may even stay beyond this one-year spell.
