Bundesliga trio RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen have all expressed an interest in signing Chelsea midfielder Ethan Ampadu on loan next season, according to the Express, cited by the Daily Star.
The Wales international has not been short of suitors since Frank Lampard announced he was looking at possible destinations for the youngster in order to increase his game time.
Premier League newcomers Aston Villa are also big admirers of the 18-year-old, who was left out of Lamaprd’s pre-season squad for their tour of Japan.
Villa may still be able to attract Ampadu on the promise of regular Premier League football, however, the three German giants can all offer the player European football.
It has been no secret that young British talent have looked to Germany over the past couple of seasons to satisfy their lust for more regular minutes.
Ampadu may feel prepared to follow in the footsteps of Jason Sancho and Reiss Nelson by establishing himself in a competitive league that accommodates young talent.
Lampard still views Ampadu as a huge part of Chelsea’s long term future, after trying to secure his signature whilst at Derby, and hence the club will be looking to gain certain assurances about the youngster’s game time from any interested party.
