Chelsea are ready to let Fikayo Tomori leave the club on a season-long loan this summer, according to Simon Johnson of The Evening Standard.

The promising defender was impressive for Derby County throughout last term and emerged as an integral part of Frank Lampard’s plans at Pride Park.
However, despite the manager taking over at Chelsea, it seems Tomori will not be playing his football under the Blues legend in 2019/20, with another temporary move elsewhere lined up.
The England Under-21 international is not short of possible destinations to choose from, according to Johnson.
Chelsea would apparently like to avoid loaning him to a club in the Championship again, but a season-long move to the Premier League remains a possibility.
Alternatively, it seems Tomori has potential opportunities in the Bundesliga and Liga NOS, with a switch to either Germany or Portugal also said to be on the table.
