Sporting Lisbon star Bruno Fernandes is reportedly desperate for a move to Manchester United as rumours continue to swirl over his future.
The Portuguese is believed to be one of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s main targets yet a transfer is struggling to be completed.
It’s been suggested the reason is because the two clubs are failing to agree on an evaluation of the player with United aiming to steal him for cheap.
Fernandes’ wishes have been made clear and that should smooth out any negotiations so hopefully a deal can be concluded quickly from now on.
Solskjaer has also previously stated a desire to have all his signings before pre-season began but since that ship has sailed, the best he can hope for is as soon as possible.
According to the Mirror, Correio da Manha report that Bruno’s desperate for a move to happen while according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, his agent will fly in on Wednesday night to sort out the last few details.
It’s believed he’s agreed to a £100k a week deal but the main issue remains the transfer fee with the Red Devils wanting to spend £32m and Sporting wanting £70m.
Solskjaer’s side have no real reason to pay what the Portuguese club wants as it’s understood Fernandes’ release clause is £32m.
