Real Madrid are believed to be growing frustrated with Chelsea after the two sides failed to agree a fee during face-to-face talks this week, according to the Evening Standard.
The report claims that Madrid’s chief executive Jose Angel Sanchez flew into London to meet with Chelsea officials in the hope to agree a deal for the Belgian.
However, it is claimed that Sanchez flew back to Madrid without a fee being agreed between the two sides, with the Blues demanding in excess of £100m for the 28-year-old.
The report goes on to add that Madrid are remaining confident of securing a deal for the player this summer, however, it appears to be taking longer than first anticipated.
Hazard’s current Chelsea contract expires at the end of next season, and with the Belgian not keen on putting pen to paper over a new deal, the Blues will more than likely sell this summer.
However, with a deal still yet to be agreed, a move for Hazard could drag on into the summer between the two parties.
