Arsenal have reportedly made their second bid for Celtic’s Kieran Tierney, as David Ornstein says the club are optimistic about completing the signing (via The Times).
It seems that the club is definitely on the lookout for a left-back this summer with Celtic’s Kieran Tierney at the top of the list.
Arsenal have monitored the Scotland international for a number of years and now seem keen on the signing.
News broke over the weekend that the club has had an opening £15 million offer for the player rejected by Celtic.
The BBC’s David Ornstein claimed that the Gunners are optimistic about completing the deal and now, the story has reached the next stage.

Reports in England suggest that the Gunners have made a second bid for the player, an offer which is said to be short of Celtic’s £25 million-valuation.
The amount isn’t reported but is believed to be around £18 million including add-ons.
It’s an interesting story and one which should excite Arsenal fans. The Gunners are in need of another left-back and Kieran Tierney fits the bill. The Scottish international is a quality player who would add attacking flair and defensive balance to Arsenal’s left flank.
