Maurizio Sarri’s proposed move to Juventus has reportedly stalled, with the Blues demanding the Italian giants meet their £5.3m release clause.
According to Sky Italia, Chelsea are holding firm in their decision to wait until Juventus trigger Sarri’s release clause before an official move can be completed.

The 60-year-old claimed his first major honour as a manager when Chelsea emphatically defeated Arsenal 4-1 in the Europa League final last month, which was expected to be the Italian’s last game in charge.
However, it seems that after an impressive end to the season, Chelsea will hold firm and will only allow Sarri to finalise a deal back to Italy if Juventus pay his £5.3m release clause.
Sarri’s future has been the hot topic at Stamford Bridge for the majority of the campaign, and it appears as if his immediate future will continue to be talked about heading into the summer.
The Italian is keen on a move back to his native country, so Juventus will have to pay Chelsea’s demands, or face another search for a new boss to fill the vacant role in Turin.
