Hazard, who joined Chelsea from Lille back in 2012, has been on Madrid’s radar for some time, with boss Zinedine Zidane keen on securing the forward’s services at the Bernabeu.
The 28-year-old, who has made over 340 Blues appearances during his seven-year stay, scoring 108 times, is out of contract with Chelsea next summer.
Hazard has won two Premier League titles, an FA Cup, League Cup and a Europa League with Chelsea and the forward could make it six major honours against Arsenal in Baku later this month.
The dynamic forward has enjoyed his best individual campaign at Stamford Bridge this year, scoring 16 times and providing 15 assists in the league, which landed him the Premier League Playmaker award.
