Chelsea have been offered hope in their bid to sign Luka Jovic from Eintracht Frankfurt this summer, ahead of Manchester United.
According to Football London, as cited on the Express, the fact that Chelsea have qualified for the Champions League means that a move to Stamford Bridge is not yet being ruled out.
The Serbian, who Chelsea got an up close and personal look at in the Europa League, looks set to leave Germany this summer and is believed to be close to joining Real Madrid.
Despite the links to Spain, Chelsea have also been heavily linked and the report claims that there is still a possibility that the player ends up in the Premier League next season.
The Blues are hoping to freeze their transfer ban through the Court of Arbitration for Sport and should the club be successful in their appeal, the report claims a £70 million move could be made.
Jovic impressed in both legs against Chelsea recently, scoring in the home and away leg for Frankfurt.
