Brazilian forward Willian trained today despite concerns of his fitness after the Manchester United game.
Willian was forced to come off in the game at Old Trafford after a tackle from Argentine defender Marcos Rojo meant the forward couldn’t continue.
However, it looks as though Willian will be fit for his side’s clash in the first leg of their Europa League semi-final against Frankfurt on Thursday, with reports showing the player training alongside the rest of the Chelsea squad.
The Brazilian winger has been impressive in the European competition for the Blues scoring three goals and assisting seven times. His performances have helped his side reach the final four but there is still a big task ahead for the London club.
Sarri will be glad to have Willian fit as he is without defender Rudiger and English attacker Callum Hudson-Odoi with both players out for the rest of the season.
With just two Premier League games and the rest of their European adventure remaining, Sarri will be praying his side do not pick up any more injuries within the next week.
