Manchester United have been handed a much needed injury boost in their race for a top four spot in the Premier League.
Marcus Rashford was one of the players to be hauled off against Chelsea due to picking up a knock and some reports claimed he’d be absent for the two remaining fixtures of the season.
However, it appears the youngster may yet play a decisive part in United’s ambitions in what can only be described as a turbulent campaign.
With only two fixtures left, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be heavily relying on the teams above him dropping points.
Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea are also caught up in the race for the Champions League qualifying spots but they’re all ahead of the Red Devils.
According to the club’s official website, the likes of Rashford, Antonio Valencia and Phil Jones were all training with the first-team stars ahead of their clash with Huddersfield.
The Ecuadorian is expected to depart when his contract expires this summer and so many believe he should be allowed to play in the last home game to get a proper sendoff.
Valencia is one of the few remaining Manchester United stars who were a part of the Sir Alex Ferguson era and has been a loyal servant for the club for several seasons now.
