Eden Hazard may try to push through a move to Real Madrid by handing in a transfer request, according to reports in Spain, as cited by the Independent.
Hazard has been long-rumoured with a move to Spain to join the European giants and this summer might finally see the move come to fruition.
But Chelsea are doing all the can to try to make this difficult for their Spanish rivals, as they are holding out for the highest fee possible.
Hazard is out of contract next summer and with how his heart set on a move to Madrid, he is very unlikely to sign a new deal.
Spanish outlet AS revealed on Tuesday morning, that the Blues’ director Marina Granovskaia has been ‘inflexible’ in transfer talks with Real Madrid and is holding out for a fee over €100m.
This is going to be a huge summer for Real Madrid. They have had a poor campaign and have struggled to adjust to life without Cristiano Ronaldo.
Madrid are reportedly hoping to sign both Christian Eriksen and Luka Jovic this summer, as well as the Belgian.
Zinedine Zidane recently re-joined the club as manager, and the pair are known to be huge fans of one another.
