Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has rubbished reports suggesting Paul Pogba will leave Manchester United in the summer.
The Frenchman, as usual, has been the lightning rod for the derision directed at Man United from all angles amid a terrible run of form during which they have lost seven out of nine games.
After Wednesday’s 2-0 defeat at home to Manchester City, several media outlets – including L’Equipe and the Times – have claimed Pogba was seriously considering joining Real Madrid and Zinedine Zidane. Both Gary Neville and Roy Keane laid into the 26-year-old’s attitude ahead of the derby, with the former suggesting his head was already in Spain.
But Solskjaer, speaking at a press conference on Friday, noted that, although he could provide no guarantees, he was adamant the midfielder would remain at Old Trafford over the summer.
Ole: "If I could guarantee I would say yes (Pogba will stay). You can’t guarantee but I think he will be.” #mufc [BBC]

Ole: “I think Paul's going to be here, he's very determined to succeed at Manchester United He's done fantastic for us, he's a human being as well and we're all the same – we want him to do well.” #mufc [Mirror]

If you truly believe Pogba is the biggest problem at Man United, and that his removal would elicit positive change, then I’m afraid you are part of a wider problem at this club.
He is not, as many people assert, a poisonous figure in the dressing room; if anything, he is the closest thing United have to a true leader in this moment in time.
Whether or not he wants to leave this summer, United fans would be wrong to will him to do so.
