Manchester United fans were not pleased with the underwhelming shift put in by the players vs West Ham in a must-win fixture.
Paul Pogba converted twice from the penalty spot to hand his side the 2-1 victory but it could be easily argued they were not deserved winners.
United needed the three points to keep their top four hopes alive after Chelsea and Tottenham won their matches and luckily they got them.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men looked tired despite the changes made to the starting XI with one eye fixed on the second leg of the Barcelona clash.
The likes of Marcos Rojo, Phil Jones, Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial all started but it’s safe to say only the former Blackburn man had a decent game.
What a miracle win that was. West Ham looked dangerous right until the end, gives us a chance for Top 4 but we won’t be genuinely making it unless things change fast. #mufc

Another below par performance from United. Still in the hunt for the top 4. Barcelona on Tuesday is going to be incredibly difficult. #mufc

Let’s not shy away from it, we were dreadful today and lucky to get anything from the game, never mind the win. Thought Ole got his subs wrong too.

We deserved the win cos they gave away two stonewall pens and only scored one themselves. But on a different day, with a different ref, or without a goalie like De Gea making those saves, it could’ve been a different result.

Dreadful game but three important points. So, so much work to do over the summer and little faith it'll actually be done. Barcelona on Tuesday.

How we've won that game, I don't know. We were so bad that it almost feels like a defeat.

Martial and Lingard’s were poor based on their own high standards while the likes of Rojo and Mata proved why they must be moved on this summer.
In the end of the day, three points was all that mattered but Manchester United’s performances, barring Barcelona perhaps, have been terrible of late.
Hopefully Solskjaer’s gamble to rest a few players pays off when they face the La Liga giant on Tuesday evening.
