Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was not impressed with his players’ mentalities despite the 2-1 victory over West Ham.
The Norwegian watched on as his stars just about grabbed all three points at home and it was largely thanks to two penalties.
Paul Pogba converted both efforts with Juan Mata and Anthony Martial responsible for winning the penalties in the first place.
Solskjaer was visibly unhappy for much of the match but he’ll be happy his side somehow came away with the win.
The focus will now be on Barcelona but everyone knows United won’t get away with a similar performance on Tuesday night.
Solskjaer, “Maybe the fact we have a game on Tuesday played on some of the player’s mind.”

Though Ole will know best in terms of his players’ mentalities, it actually appeared as though they were fatigued rather than distracted.
The former Molde man is known for his high tempo, attacking football so it wouldn’t be a surprise if the United squad are feeling the effects of it.
Injuries have piled up but it could also be due to Solskjaer not having a pre-season to work on their fitness.
Jose Mourinho was known to have his players play on the back-foot so to switch from that to all out attacking mid-season can be what went wrong.
