Everton manager Marco Silva hopes the club’s recent upturn in form can convince Chelsea loanee Kurt Zouma to remain at the club on a permanent basis.
Zouma has been a mainstay in Everton’s side this season, and has impressed alongside Michael Keane, but his form for the club makes it more difficult to sign him permanently.
Chelsea’s transfer ban this summer complicates matters, and Everton will hope that the Blues allow him to leave, should Zouma wish to move to Merseyside on a permanent basis.

With the transfer ban likely to restrict Chelsea from signing players this summer, the club aren’t likely to sanction many sales, with loan stars sure to play an important part during next year’s campaign.
Talking about Everton’s chances to sign Zouma this summer as well as fellow loanee Andre Gomes (from Barcelona), as reported by Telegraph Sport, Marco Silva said:
There is always a chance but it is not just in our hands.
They [Zouma and Gomes] are happy here, that is a good sign. That means they are performing, they are enjoying [their football] and they are also helping us.
We are happy with them, that is true, and it is up to us to do what we shall do to try and keep them.
It is not just in our hands, the players and their clubs have to decide together.
At the right moment we will do something.
