Chelsea are reportedly keen on bolstering their attacking options this summer by signing Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski and young Borussia Dortmund striker Alexander Isak, the Mirror report.
Despite having a two-window transfer ban hanging over them, the Blues are hopeful their appeal will be successful and will be able to return to the transfer market this summer.
If given the green light by FIFA, reports suggest that Chelsea are ready to make offers for both Lewandowski and Isak.
Polish international Lewandowski has struck 125 times in 152 appearances for Bayern since arriving from Dortmund five years ago and it is believed that the forward’s advisors have already been contacted by the Blues over a possible summer switch.
Despite recently turning 31, it is thought that the Blues would still have to place an offer in the region of £70 million to secure the natural goal scorer’s services.
On the other hand, Dortmund striker Isak could well be one for the future.
The Swedish teenager is currently on-loan at Dutch club Willem II and has scored 11 goals in 11 games during his stint in Holland.
The 19-year-old, who has been linked with Bayern Munich and Real Madrid in recent months, has been compared to fellow Swede Zlatan Ibrahimovic in recent times, so the Blues could well face plenty of competition for Isak’s signature.
