Chelsea holding out on £100m offer to let star man leave

Chelsea are waiting on a bid of £100m to let Eden Hazard join Real Madrid in the summer.

According to The Independent, via The BBC, Chelsea are holding out for an offer of £100m from Real Madrid, who are said to be keen on a deal for the forward.

Hazard’s current contract at Chelsea expires at the end of next season, which has led to speculation regarding his future at Stamford Bridge.

Real Madrid are eager to sign him in the summer, but will have to pay £100m – which would be a club-record deal for the Spanish giants.

The Belgian has been in terrific form for Chelsea in the Premier League this season, with 14 goals and 12 assists in 31 appearances for Maurizio Sarri’s side.

He has been with Chelsea since 2012 and scored 107 goals in 341 games for the club to date, being widely regarded as one of the best players in the Premier League.
