Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reportedly wants to sign PSV star Hirving Lozano this upcoming summer.
The Norwegian is widely expected to be handed the reigns permanently after being given the job initially as a caretaker manager.
Solskjaer’s outstanding turnaround of United’s form has seen him quickly climb up their list of potential candidates and he’s now the favourite.
The former Molde man is said to have targeted the right-wing position for investment and it appears he’s chosen Lozano as the man he wants.
The Mexican has been impressive since his move to the Netherlands and he was outstanding for his country at the World Cup with many clubs then lining up to sign him.
According to Read Chelsea, Sport Witness report that Ole has asked the Red Devils’ board to sign Hirving, perhaps in an effort to replace Alexis Sanchez though any deal could cost them €40m.
The Chilean’s days are believed to be numbered with the caretaker manager running out of patience with him.
Sanchez is more or less the only player to have not improved under Solskjaer’s management and after suffering an injury, it seems he won’t have time to turn matters around before the summer.
