Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich wants to sell Kepa Arrizbalaga this summer, according to El Confidencial.
The goalkeeper has been in the news of late, following his controversial antics in the Carabao Cup final defeat to Manchester City last month.
His refusal to be substituted in extra-time infuriated manager Maurizio Sarri and it led to criticism from all corners.
Kepa and Sarri seem to have moved on from the issue, with the ‘keeper starting in Sunday’s 2-1 win at Fulham, but Abramovich doesn’t appear to be in the same boat.
He has reportedly told Chelsea to find a buyer for the Spaniard, but Premier League and La Liga clubs don’t appear to be interested currently.
Whether or not the report is to be believed may become clearer over time, but once Abramovich has his say, there is only going to be one outcome.
It will be interesting to see if Kepa continues to keep his place in the coming weeks.
