Borussia Dortmund’s sporting director Michael Zorc has shut down any possibility of Jadon Sancho departing this summer.
The Englishman is highly sought after by many of Europe’s top clubs due to his form for his club this season.
Manchester United are reportedly one of those interested and have even made him their highest priority.
Zorc however is refusing to even put a price-tag on Sancho, perhaps in a bid to ward off any interest.
Some believe that Dortmund are just playing hard-ball and are attempting to start a bidding war for one of their most prized prospects.
According to Bleacher Report, Michael said: “I’m far from putting a price tag on Jadon, but I will say that, even for the biggest club in the world, his transfer would be difficult right now.
“Jadon will play at Dortmund next season and we are definitely planning with him.”
In terms of United, the claim is that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to make him part of a front trio that includes Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford.
The three youngsters could potentially be the club’s main attackers for the next decade if they wished.
The Red Devils though don’t want to spend more than £80m on Jadon and given the current market that’s rather reasonable.
However, it’s believed Borussia won’t entertain such a low figure and believe their winger is worth far more than that.
Manchester United may have to turn their eyes elsewhere at more attainable targets if they want to strengthen their squad this summer.
