Chelsea eased to a 3-0 victory against Dynamo Kyiv in the first leg of their Europa League round of 16 fixture.
The Blues headed into the game as firm favourites and duly delivered with a professional display at Stamford Bridge.
Maurizio Sarri made several changes to his starting line-up following the 2-1 win at Fulham in the Premier League on Sunday, with Eden Hazard dropping to the bench.
Pedro opened the scoring for Chelsea and could have netted a hatful but for some wasteful finishing.
The hosts continued to probe the Kyiv defence and went two up courtesy of a finely-executed free-kick from Willian, which arrowed into the top corner.
Chelsea’s win was sealed by Callum Hudson-Odoi, who came off the bench to confidently net his side’s third of the evening.
The Blues now appear to have one foot in the quarter-finals of the Europa League as they prepare to travel to Kyiv for the second leg with a three-goal cushion.
Here are four findings from the victory.
