Revealed: Paul Pogba doesn't make Man United's trip to Dubai for this reason

Manchester United star Paul Pogba has not recovered well enough from injury to travel with the rest of the squad to Dubai.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has opted to take his players to the United Arab Emirates for some warm weather training ahead of their clash against Tottenham.

The Frenchman didn’t feature in United’s 2-0 victory over Reading in the FA Cup and is now worrying fans over his fitness.

Pogba had initially picked up a knock after a nasty challenge from Jonjo Shelvey during the victory over Newcastle.

Supporters are certainly hoping the midfielder will be ready for the biggest challenge of Solskjaer’s short reign.

According to the club’s official website, Paul will join his teammates abroad so there’s potential for him to start against Tottenham.

Ole will need a fully fit and available squad to dismantle Mauricio Pochettino’s men as they aim to finish in the top four.

The Red Devils’ have won all five of the Norwegian’s matches so far and a win against Tottenham will make it an even sweeter start.

Wins over Cardiff City, Huddersfield, Bournemouth, Newcastle and Reading were rightly celebrated but it’s such big occasions such as these that truly defines seasons.

Ironically enough, Pochettino is the man who is said to be the favourite to takeover from Solskjaer should he not do enough to impress the board for a permanent role.
