Potential XI: Man United can blow Burnley away with talented attacking trio

Manchester United face Burnley in their next fixture with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer certainly looking to make it nine wins out of nine in his bid to land the permanent managerial role.

The Norwegian is without a doubt targeting a top four finish to throw his name into the hat as the club continue to consider who to hire next.

One of the best things Solskjaer has done is to identify his starting XI and run with it after predecessor Jose Mourinho often over-rotated.

David de Gea will likely return in goal after Sergio Romero‘s played his part in the fantastic 3-1 over Arsenal on Friday.

The back four remains the same other than one name with Luke Shaw, Eric Bailly, Victor Lindelof all getting another start whilst Diogo Dalot is the new name.

The two centre-backs were impressive vs the Gunners while Ashley Young has shown signs of decline, meaning this is yet another game to allow the Portuguese youngster to settle in.

The midfield trio of Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic and Ander Herrera have a perfect balance and partnership with Ole relying on them to dominate games consistently.

Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial return to the starting XI after being somewhat rested against Arsenal and they’re joined with Alexis Sanchez.

Jesse Lingard was equally outstanding against Arsenal as the Chilean but the right-wing has been a problem area for quite some time.

If Sanchez can make that position his own then that will solve many problems and the Englishman could be saved for the clash against Leicester just a few days later.

The former Barcelona man has to be rewarded for his performance and should be motivated to rediscover his best form.

Romelu Lukaku is unlucky to miss out due to his revival under Solskjaer but Rashford’s form has been too great to consider dropping the youngster at all.
