Chelsea have offered Bristol City £1million for youngster Antoine Semenyo, according to the Daily Mail.
Semenyo is currently attracting attention while on loan for League Two side Newport County, and the Blues are looking to sign the 19-year-old in January and initially use him in their Under-23 squad.
The report suggests Chelsea have offered £1million for Semenyo, though Bristol are said to want a fee closer to £2million for the forward.
Semenyo featured for Newport during their 1-1 draw away to Middlesbrough in the FA Cup Fourth Round, and has made 31 appearances in all competitions for the Welsh side this season, scoring six goals.
Manchester United are also said to be interested in the youngster, and have sent scouts to watch him play for Newport this season.
According to The Mirror, loan manager at Bristol City Brian Tinnion revealed he was sat alongside a scout from United while he was also monitoring his progress.
I was sat with a Man United scout at Newport the other week, to be honest, and they really like him.
The forward made his professional debut for Bristol on the final day of the 2017-18 season in a 3-2 defeat to Sheffield United, coming on as a second half substitute.
