Bournemouth are interested in signing Chelsea outcast Danny Drinkwater on loan, according to the Daily Mail.
Drinkwater has played very little part in the Blues’ season, with Maurizio Sarri not seeing him as part of his plans moving forward.
In fact, the 28-year-old has made only 23 Chelsea appearances since joining from Leicester City in September 2017.
Bournemouth are now offering a way out, however, with Eddie Howe seeing him as someone who can add quality and depth to his squad.
The plan is to bring Drinkwater in until the end of the season, although time is running out, with the January transfer window closing on Thursday.
The midfielder has also been linked with a switch to Fenerbahce, just days after teammate Victor Moses moved there.
A move to Bournemouth makes complete sense for Drinkwater, who has failed to kick on since memorably winning the Premier League with Leicester in 2015/16.
