Manchester United legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has insisted the win over Bournemouth was better than the win over Huddersfield last time out.
The Norwegian has overseen a three game winning run but has praised his stars for their latest victory.
United beat Cardiff City 5-1, Huddersfield 3-1 and Bournemouth 4-1 so far in consecutively impressive displays.
Paul Pogba has starred in all of those matches and has quickly silenced his critics who questioned pretty much all the aspects of his game.
Solskjaer isn’t just happier with the latest victory due to the scoreline but mores with how his side controlled the game.
Ole: “First half, high tempo and high energy. The second half was excellent. We managed the game so much better than against Huddersfield. I have to say it’s a very good performance, the crowd were enjoying it.” #mufc [Sky]

Ole is correct. During the Huddersfield game it was far more chaotic and less controlled than the Bournemouth game.
Even with ten men on the field the Red Devils were able to correctly assess when to take risks and when to hold off.
Solskjaer always set his players up to attack but he would’ve been more pleased with that aspect as well as the improvement in the quality of passing.
What he won’t be happy with is the defending. Manchester United weren’t terrible against Bournemouth but their inability to keep a clean sheet so far is a concern.
Better sides will probably punish Ole’s men even more and then the attacking risks will no longer prove worthwhile.
