Manchester United fans were left feeling frustrated after Arsenal’s emphatic 4-2 win over Tottenham after suffering their own side’s dire draw against Southampton.
Supporters would normally not pay attention towards what’s happening in the North London derby but Unai Emery has proven to be the perfect example of how to bring the best out of a squad within months rather than years.
The Spaniard has gotten the Gunners following his tactics and firing as they fight to achieve a top four spot this season.
Having just arrived in the summer, United fans are confused why Jose Mourinho has had three years at the club with there still being no real sense of identity and the constant poor football this season.
With the rest of the traditional top six also playing fantastic football across the board, the Portuguese manager is running out of excuses.
Unai Emery
– Inherited weakest squad in top 6 that had stagnated for years
– Limited backing from board
– American owner that only cares about profitAll the excuses people make for Mourinho, who's supposedly the far better coach. Yet look at how well he's doing there.

Really hits home just how poorly Man United planned for post Sir Alex life when you see how the right appointment with Emery at Arsenal has seen them do so well straight after Wenger’s departure. Amazing what the right planning and structure can do for a football club

Impressive from Arsenal. Imagine how good they’ll be when Emery gets the three years and infinity billion to replace his entire squad that we’re told is the only way to improve and compete

Arsenal replaced their long term manager with an experienced top level manager who’s managed successful league and European Cup campaigns.
We replaced a genius with Moyes because he was Scottish.

Look at the difference in Arsenal’s mentality and performances since Emery arrived in the summer.
We’re three years in and we’ve not improved at all with better players having joined.

The Red Devils are also running out of time to turn their season around and a loss against Arsenal, who they play next, would surely spell the end for Mourinho.
The board may attempt to wait until Champions League football is no longer mathematically possible as they did with David Moyes and Louis van Gaal but most of the fans are urging the club to act before it’s too late.
