The race for the free transfer of Aaron Ramsey has reportedly been won by the Bundesliga giants, Bayern Munich (via The Telegraph).
It’s a transfer story which has been trundling on for some time but reports suggest that it could soon come to an end.
Aaron Ramsey’s Arsenal contract expires at the end of the season and it seems highly unlikely that he will agree on a new deal.
The Welshman can sign a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs from 1 January and it seems as if he may just do it.
The Telegraph has claimed that Bayern Munich believe they have won the race to sign the Welshman.
Serie A sides like AC Milan and Juventus were thought to be leading the race to sign Ramsey but it appears as if the German champions are on top.
It’s an interesting story which has come out of nowhere. Bayern Munich were barely mentioned in any of the reports surrounding the future of Aaron Ramsey but now there are claims that he will be a player for them next year. We’ll have to wait and see how much truth is in these claims.
